From Stress to Zen: Understanding and Simple Steps to Take
I meet you where you are in your life. We are all journeying together and having experiences that we learn from, be it through pain or joy.
Does life have to be one continual challenge we want to escape from, or can we actually create a life we want? Well coming from having both scenarios I can say I get how both happens.
It’s about recognizing the patterns we carry epigenetically, from childhood, from past lives and learning from them and releasing them. I have found that this needs to be done on all levels, mentally, emotionally, physically and emotionally. You can’t stop a cycle until you recognize yourself in one. Do you hear yourself saying the same thing over and over? Is there something that causes discomfort or dis-ease? Are you not happy with the status quo but think you don’t have an alternative choice?
I used to hear a friend constantly say she has no choice. We do that as human beings, not being able to see anything beyond the situation.
Simply all we need to do is stop ourselves in our tracks and reframe. Not matter how ridiculous or unacceptable it may sound. It stops the perpetual thought patterns and opens up to what if:
• What if there is another way to look at this?
• What if there is a solution I have not thought of?
• What if there were other possibilities?
It may not feel like it, but it leaves it in the energy field to percolate. It’s all about energy. When we change the energy, everything can move, flow and change. Our thoughts are energy…that flows from us out into the quantum field. The way energy works is that is what we will attract in return because energy reads energy. Our feelings, emotions and thoughts are all energy. And it is also instructing and programming our brains. The brain is hardwired to take that message and work with it and find more of the same. So that is why we need to work on all levels.
The Brain:
As we have thoughts or words are spoken into us from people around us and social media etc, if it is a repetitive thought, example “I’m not good enough” the brain will start laying down a neural pathway. A kind of train track our thoughts will now use and go along. In other words, it will create more situations that reflect your “not enough” and further compound it and make it “true” for you. The idea then is to STOP, reframe and use new words and thoughts, even if you don’t believe it in the beginning.
The brain is a supercomputer and will only store what you feed it. Just like you tap the comma on your keypad, only a comma will appear….unless you change it. It really is as simple as that, although it can take time and practice. Continually brining in the new thoughts or words will eventually build new neural pathways in your brain. The old ones will become like unused overgrown railway tracks.
Emotions:
Emotions have their own energy and frequency. Joy being a high frequency emotion and shame a very low one. Ever said you are feeling down or low? Well that is because these low vibrational emotions are predominating and affecting your mood. Nothing to be ashamed of or kick yourself over, it’s part of the human experience, but staying there can lead to anxiety and depression and you can feel stuck in life….perpetuating a cycle.
Emotions, as an energy, over time will land in our physical body and again, over time can then manifest as a physical condition. See Louise Hays book on the parts of the body and the relevant emotion with a clearing affirmation. I have studied this for years and every time a coconut, it is true. More about how affirmations work later.
Our souls have a mission here in earth and one of them is to get your attention, so you can stop this cycle, or break the patterning and live a beautiful authentic life that is a reflection of the true you. Sound good?
This can then come in any form from being tired of hearing yourself complain, being tired of feeling this way, to what appears to be disaster out or traumatic experiences. You are never a victim, in fact the opposite. We have not been taught how truly powerful we are. Our life is just trying to remind of that.
So what is the solution you ask?
Steps to take daily:
1. STOP the habitual thinking but even commanding yourself to stop. You can even say Cancel, Clear, Delete.
2. Then add a new thoughts/affirmation and say it aloud if you can-very powerful statement into the energy field and message to your soul and the universe. If you are not where you can say it, think it. 3 times is best, at least.
Do this each time…DONT give up and DONT judge yourself. Judging ourselves…also a learned behaviour, just adds more lower vibe emotion. Not what we want to create!
I will post lots of quick ways to clear your emotions and create new ones. Swift shift tips for the busy person. It’s a matter of minutes to do these.
Even in a crowd of people you can do some of these:
1. Stop the thoughts. You can reframe and open up the energy of possibilities by asking yourself if this is actually true. Thank you can say the What If…as said by Abraham Hicks. What if I AM enough? What if I am everything I need to be in this moment right now.
2. Centre yourself and get into your heart space….more about this heart later. Take deep breath and place or hand on your heart centre and/or bring your attention and awareness to this centre, breathing into it.
3. Ground and anchor into your own energies. Plant your feet firmly to the ground. Imagine roots growing from your feet into beautiful nurturing Mother Earth and then opening up the centre of your body, through the top of your head and up into the cosmos and the universe, where your Soul resides. Imagine or send energy up and down this column of light energy and affirm to yourself, I am a beautiful Being of Light.
I am needed here now. I am enough. “you can even go on to add anything that comes to you…like I am amazing, I am wonderful, I am Love and I love everyone and everyone loves me. My life is always working out for me. I am successful in every area of my life. Even if you are not in the space to believe it, do it.
Remember you are giving your brain new instructions, changing your energy frequency.. and your emotional well-being will follow.
4. De-stress breathing. Stop what you are doing and do 3 rounds of breathing as follows: Breathe into through your nose to the slow count of 4, hold for the count of 4, breathe out through your mouth to the count of 6.
That’s all it takes to take your from your sympathetic nervous system response of fight or flight (stress), to your parasympathetic system of calm and balance. Really quick!
